Kacerovsky (formerly ostblok) cares about colorful young voices, artistic expressions with widespread appeal, and social commentary infused with subversive potential.
It produced shorts that screened at Karlovy Vary, PÖFF Black Nights, Premiers Plans and Max Ophüls, such as »Topfpalmen« (D: Rosa Friedrich), also nominated for the First Steps Award.
Its first feature co-production »Jimmie« (D: Jesper Ganslandt) premiered at Rotterdam 2018, while its debut documentary »Robin’s Hood« (D: Jasmin Baumgartner) was awarded at DOK Leipzig 2020. Most recently the short »Bye Bye, Bowser« (D: Jasmin Baumgartner) screened at Sundance 2024.
The feature debut »Sentimental Fail Club« (D: Jasmin Baumgartner) is currently in production. The hybrid documentary »My Friend the Porn Star« (D: Rosa Friedrich) is slated for release in 2026.

Dominic studied at Film Academy Vienna and holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Vienna and an MA in Cultural Management from King’s College London. He was selected for Berlinale Talents 2022 and Ji.hlava Emerging Producers 2025.
